Preserving floral marquetry
The curved side of this half-moon desk carries a classic Dutch picture in wood: an urn of flowers held up by winged griffins. Several pieces of veneer had lifted or gone missing. We carefully replaced and reset them, keeping the colors and grain of each piece true to the original.
